Scoring milestones and first varsity victories: Vote for the Coastal Athlete of the Week

This week’s Coastal Athlete of the Week is Graham Schofield from the Marshfield boys lacrosse team. Schofield had a hat trick against Falmouth High in the semifinals of the Chowda Cup. He picked up 56.06% of this week’s vote.

Madelyn Packard and Grace Maroney, Hingham girls lacrosse

Packard scored her 100th career goal and Maroney tallied her 100th career point for the Harborwomen in Monday’s victory over Plymouth North.

Hingham boys volleyball team

The first-year program earned their first varsity win Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Scituate.

Shane Mulcahy, Cohasset boys lacrosse

Mulcahey scored nine points (five goals, four assists) for the Skippers on Tuesday in a 15-2 win over Mashpee.

Emily Harper and Sofia Blanco, Marshfield softball

Both players had two hits and two RBIs as the Rams picked up their third win over the season by beating Scituate.

A.J. Barrett, Hingham track and field

Barrett won the high jump, long jump, and the 100-meter events in a victory over Whitman-Hanson.
